If you adore cooking for company and have always wanted to show off your culinary skills LIVE on TV – you may just be in luck. ITV, a British television network is on the hunt for contestants to take part in a Costa del Sol special for a new series of their popular show Come dine with me.
The show is being filmed in Spain for the first time ever between June 27 and July 10. The TV show is looking for British expats and fluent English speaking locals who are not camera shy, have a flair for cooking and a passion for hosting dinner parties.
The premise of the show consists of four complete strangers being grouped together and competing against each other by hosting a dinner party for the other contestants over a few days. At the end of the allotted time, the votes are tallied up and the host who is deemed to have created “the perfect dinner party experience” will win a cash prize of 1,000 pounds sterling.
Come Dine With Me is a Channel 4 television programme shown in the United Kingdom, first broadcast in January 2005. An element of comedy is also added to the show through comedian Dave Lamb’s narration.
