Beaches like in the Carribean

Beach in Zahara de los AtunesIf you want to see white sandy beaches like in the carribean, you have to visit the coast of Cadiz. Try the beaches at Tarifa, Barbate, Conil de la Frontera or Chiclana de la Frontera. But one of the best beaches is in the small town of Zahara de los Atunes. In the southeast of the town you have a big beach which is normally not that full like other beaches on the coast. Like you can see it on the picture you have wide sandy beaches and fantastic blue water. You won´t realise that you are in Spain instead of the carribean. If you want to enjoy the sun and the nice warm weather in august try it there.

MotoGP in Jerez de la Frontera

Moto GP JerezOn the 25th of march is the next moto GP in Jerez. It´s the second grand prix after the race in Qatar. But before there is a Official Test on the racetrack of Jerez de la Frontera. From monday, 19th february until sunday, 25th february you can enjoy everything from MotoGP what you like. It´s not a real race, but I think it would be nice to see it. There is enough space for up to 250,000 people, so take some friends and go to the MotoGP in Jerez. It´s worth seeing it. And if you have some time left, Jerez is where sherry is originated and it is one of the original centres of Flamenco. Take one week off and go to Jerez.

San Roque

San RoqueSan Roque is a small town with a population of 25,000 near Gibraltar. It is part of the province of Cádiz. It was founded by the original inhabitants of Gibraltar, which abandoned the town in 1704, after the takeover by the Anglo-Dutch forces during the War of the Spanish Succession. This way, San Roque official motto is “The town of Gibraltar that lives in San Roque”. From San Roque you have a good view to Gibraltar and although Algeciras. San Roque itself is very nice, with its small streets and nice buildings. It´s worth a visit to drink a coffee in a little bar.

Moto GP in Jerez

Moto GP JerezLast weekend I was so close to the first race of the Moto Grand Prix in Jerez de la Frontera, but I can´t reach it, because I was ill. So I had to see in on tv. But next year I think I will see it in real. And next year a spanish driver will win the GP. This year the first place go to the italian Loris Capirossi and the second to the spanish Dani Pedrosa.
