Buying an apartment or house in Spain or anywhere else always means, that you need furniture. And the well known swedish company Ikea is always a good address to buy furniture. But the last time I bought some furniture I had to go to Sevilla to the nearest Ikea around here in Andalucia. And there is nothing else to compare around here. But on Tuesday 30th of October a new Ikea is due to open near Plaza Mayor in Malaga, next to the airport. Don´t go there on the first days, because it will be packed with people and I think it will be difficult to find a parking space around there. But a few weeks later it´s the best address to buy cheap and good furniture for your new home on the Costa del Sol.

That was this years San Juan. After I expected some groups for a concert like Danza Invisible and Ariel Rot, they didn’t appear. So the good concerts were cancelled and there was only an orchestra. This years theme was a Medieval Castle, very first line beach, 8 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, massive swimming pool to the rear, big garden (without flowers), stables, security guard on some towers around, underfloor heating. And this nice castle was burned down last saturday at 12 o’clock midnight. What a shame. But it was a nice, big and warm fire with a fantastic firework. And the nice thing was, you could see the next bonfire on the beach of Casares.

On the 25th of march is the next moto GP in Jerez. It´s the second grand prix after the race in Qatar. But before there is a Official Test on the racetrack of Jerez de la Frontera. From monday, 19th february until sunday, 25th february you can enjoy everything from MotoGP what you like. It´s not a real race, but I think it would be nice to see it. There is enough space for up to 250,000 people, so take some friends and go to the MotoGP in Jerez. It´s worth seeing it. And if you have some time left, Jerez is where sherry is originated and it is one of the original centres of Flamenco. Take one week off and go to Jerez.

Last weekend I was so close to the first race of the Moto Grand Prix in Jerez de la Frontera, but I can´t reach it, because I was ill. So I had to see in on tv. But next year I think I will see it in real. And next year a spanish driver will win the GP. This year the first place go to the italian Loris Capirossi and the second to the spanish Dani Pedrosa.
