It’s the welcome to summer and its celebration takes place during the shortest night of the year. I have seen it last year in , but in many towns, cities or villages on the coast is the same procedure. In a huge tableau is constructed on the a few days before the event. It is a work of art and every year is a different theme. Last year you could see some big buildings from New York with figures from Superman, King Kong on the Empire State Building, The Mask and Marilyn Monroe. At 12 o’clock at night there is a big firework and the work is set on fire. Keep away from the fire, because it’s really hot. I havn’t seen something big like this for a long time. Bossaball mixes soccer, volleyball and gymnastics

BossaballBossaball is a new related to beachvolleyball, beachsoccer, footvolley, capoeira and gymnastics. It is a serious competitive and a a lot of fun. Bossaball can be played in teams of 3, 4 or 5 players. It combines elements of , football, gymnastics and capoeira on a pitch of trampolines and bouncy inflatables. The court is divided by a net and similar to a court. The aim of bossaball is for each team to ground the ball on the opponent’s field. Each team is entitled to a maximum of 8 contacts with the ball on its own field, meanwhile the trampoline jumper gains height to prepare a spectacular smash. Any part of the body can be used to play the ball. Players can touch the ball only once with their hands, or double touch it with their feet and/or head. Once a team grounds the ball on the inflatables it gains 1 point. Scoring on the trampolines is worth 3 points. Hitting the bossawall (= the rings around the trampolines) doesn´t count as a score. With 25 points the game is finished. Bossaball referees have a whistle, a microphone and can have various percussion instruments and a dj set. They referee the game and make the Samba feeling. But they´re not required to enjoy a game of bossaball. Read more »

The course offers large, wide fairways and demands from the player concentration and high precision drives. The second 9 holes are slightly difficult, but offer fantastic views to the Mediteranean, Puerto de la Duquesa, and the mountains. From hole 15, par 4, you can even see . Therefore the port became more and more famous and is now known as playground for the jet-set glamour and the rich and famous. The streets behind the harbour are filled with bars and nightclubs and behind this is the main square with a big El Corte Inglés department store. There are many excellent bars usually open until 4 am. The livliest bar is xs bar which is located in the Plaza de la Comedia in the second line behind Sinatras. The bar is usually full of Marbella’s crazy crowd. The harbour is the synonym for the luxury and wealth of the Costa del Sol and is worth a visit.
