Franz Ferdinand live in Spain.. Secretly!Indie-rock band Franz Ferdinand will be setting the stage alight here in in November, with concerts in Barcelona, and Málaga.

The Scottish foursome, best known on the current indie-rock scene, for songs like their classic “Take Me Out” will be playing to an audience of just 1,200 people in Barcelona on November 4th, before moving on to San Sebastian on November 6th and Málaga on November 8th for what is purported to be a top-secret gig. The exact venues for all three concerts have not yet been disclosed.

For each , which is part of the “San Miguel Unique Tour“, there are 600 pairs of that can be obtained via a lottery system sponsored by the famous beer company. The new train stations that have been inaugurated are geared entirely toward the new Terminal 3 at Malaga airport – dubbed the “gateway to the ” – and aim to increase accessibility to the terminal and comfort to the users of the airport.

Trains on the C-1 Malaga-Fuengirola Cercanías line now stop at the new just 30 metres from the new Terminal 3. Which saves a long walk with heavy suitcases! On the Spot fines for Foreigners

TrafficIn August this year The Department (DGT) in launched a new system to ensure that foreign drivers caught by fixed radar devices are forced to pay on the spot, therefore these foreign drivers caught speeding on Spanish roads will no longer be able to escape paying the just because they live outside the country or are difficult for authorities to track down.

The new system involves radar equipment that can recognise foreign licence plates and automatically notify the nearest patrol car, including a photograph of the speeding vehicle. The officers can then pull over the vehicle and fine the driver – fines which could go up to as much £500!
